You're amazing at sales. Let's put an engine behind it.

If you are great at closing but do not want to spend the next five years also building a marketing engine and running the operations behind it, this seat is designed for you. You get salary, benefits, funded leads, and an installed sales process the day you walk in, so every hour of your week can go where it earns the most: into the appointment itself.

The condition we treat

“The Producer's Overhead Tax”

/prə-ˈdü-sərz ˈō-vər-ˌhed ˈtaks/  ·  noun

The compounding cost every independent producer pays out of their week in exchange for staying independent: the hours spent on marketing, ops, tech, compliance, and case admin, plus the medical and retirement benefits that come out of the same paycheck the appointments do.

For the closer who loves the sale but resents everything that surrounds it, the Overhead Tax is the invisible ceiling on how much premium a single producer can realistically write in a year. This seat removes it.

What we offer

We handle the business. You handle the sale.

The firm carries every part of the business that pulls an independent producer away from the appointment. Your job is to sit with clients and do the work you have trained your entire career for, while the firm handles everything that surrounds it.

  • A home

You join the Retirement Realized agency, a real firm with real infrastructure behind you. Not another shingle you have to hang on your own.

  • The leads

We fund every lead the firm generates. You never build a funnel, buy a list, or wonder where the next appointment is coming from.

  • The process

One installed sales process, the same framework our top producers run. You are onboarded from day one and reinforced every week.

  • The business, handled

Contracting, carrier relationships, technology, compliance, brand, marketing. Firm-level functions, so producers stay in the seat.

What makes Retirement Realized different

You're joining something bigger than a compensation plan.

The best closers we work with all want the same thing, which is a mission worth putting their skill against. That is exactly what this seat is built to be.

  • 01

A mission you can point at

Retirement Realized exists to reshape how annuities are practiced, sold, and serviced in this country. Every producer inside the agency is part of that mission, and every case they place moves it forward.

  • 02

    Leaders still in the field

The partnership team still writes business every week. The systems, coaching, and case-design bench you plug into are the same ones they run in their own appointments, not theory borrowed from someone else's practice.

  • 03

A working environment built for closers

The agency is small on purpose. Every producer is coached, supported, and held accountable by a leadership group that knows them by name, so the environment continues to raise the standard alongside your production.

What you can count on

Salary, benefits, and a split that grows with production.

Producers here are employees of the firm, not 1099 contractors. Base salary and benefits are paid alongside a production split that improves as issued production grows. We publish the split so you know exactly what a good year looks like.

Issued production Split Stage
$0 – $3M 50 / 50 Ramp stage, we fund every lead
$3M – $5M 55 / 45 Producing, split improves
$5M – $10M 60 / 40 Established, top split
$10M + 70 / 30 Career producer tier

Base salary and benefit specifics are shared in the hiring conversation and built around your production track record.

The ceiling, if you want one

This is the destination for most producers, and the launchpad for a few.

Many of the producers here settle into the seat and never want anything more, because a great living without the overhead of ownership is exactly the outcome they were looking for. That is a real win, and it is one we celebrate.

For the producer who eventually develops the drive to build something of their own, there is a clear path up. You can ascend out of the agency into our BUILD path, moving from a contracted FMO producer into the AgenSeed Program and eventually into the APEX Network. Nothing about the decision has to be made today.

Common questions

The questions serious closers ask us first.

If you are seriously considering the move from independent producer to career agent, these are the questions we tend to hear before the first conversation, and the honest answers we give when they come up.

  • I'm making great money on my own. Why would I trade that for a W-2?

For most independent producers, the true cost of self-employment lives in what we call the Producer's Overhead Tax: the hours a week spent on marketing, ops, tech, compliance, and case admin, plus the medical and retirement benefits they self-fund. Career agents inside the firm write more premium in fewer hours because every hour goes to the appointment itself. If you enjoy running the business more than you enjoy the sale, this is not the right seat for you. If you want to sell full-time and let the firm carry the rest, it usually pays off within the first twelve months.

  • What benefits come with the role, and how does the salary work alongside the split?

Producers here are W-2 employees of the firm. Base salary is paid alongside the production split, and the full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off. Exact salary and benefit levels are calibrated to your production history and shared in the hiring conversation, so you always know the total compensation picture before you accept.

  • Do I have to relocate, or can I run appointments remotely?

The role is designed to be run from anywhere in the country, with virtual appointments as the primary format and occasional travel for in-person work when a client warrants it. What matters is that you can show up consistently, follow the installed sales process, and stay engaged with the coaching cadence, whether your office is our headquarters or your own home.

  • What kind of leads is the firm actually funding?

Every appointment on your calendar comes from lead systems the firm builds, funds, and manages internally, primarily through digital acquisition channels that our top producers have been running for years. You never buy a list, run your own ads, or negotiate for lead flow. If the firm cannot keep your calendar full, that is the firm's problem to solve, not yours.

  • Do I lose my book of business or my licensing if the fit is not right down the road?

You retain your licensing at all times, and the terms around the book of business are shared transparently before you sign anything. We would rather have an honest conversation up front than lose a talented producer to a surprise later, so nothing about the relationship is buried in fine print.
